LOL... I heard my perodontist(sp?) cuss a few times during a surgery and ended up with 2 broken teeth (that had nothing to do with my operation!)... It worked out though, my dentist fixed them at no cost.

Things Not to say during surgery
Monday, September 19th, 2011 at 12:00 am From my experience as a nurse in an operating room, I have found out that there are a few things that one should not say whilst the patient is still awake.

1.Oops!
2.Damn!
3.Is that suppose to be there?
4.It doesn’t usually look like that.
5.I didn’t tell you to cut that!
6.What do you mean we’re missing an instrument!
7.Get my lawyer on the phone.
8.Call my office and tell them I don’t know when I’ll be there.
9.I hope this goes quick & easy…I didn’t get much sleep last night.
10.Get the attending physician…now.
11.Hold the book where I can see it. OK, now turn the page.
12.Doesn’t anyone here know how to work this thing?
13.When is lunch?

These are very funny, although I am a little more nervous about having surgery now. Guess it is a good thing I will be asleep.
