Lets think of the possible benefits first. They will also peck at your vegetables if you grow your own and they especially adore pecking tomatoes. You may want to safeguard your veggies or some section of your yard.

And, like for a lot of other pets, there can be some work required, including frequent cleansing of the hen house. Hens poo all over the place and the house, as well as feeding and water containers, ought to be washed.
