Stop Using Plastic Bags

reusablebags.gifFrom my experience, it’s really easy to cut back on how many plastic bags I am using. I feel really good every time I don’t send another plastic bag to the landfill. So, I bought a few super sturdy bags from reusablebags.com and I use them constantly. Okay, so the checkout person may look at me a little funny. I don’t care. Here are my favorite bags:

  • Earth Tote - These bags are super strong and hold much more than a standard grocery bag.
  • Workhorse Style 1501, Black Mesh - These super-compact bags fold up so small you can keep one in your purse and always have one on hand.

I dont use plastic bags either, simply because I am sick of seeing them! They are everywhere, in trees, at the park, in the river, on the roads, in the gutter. I know people say that its “saving trees” but I would rather use recycled paper bags, than have plastic bags flying around everywhere and not planning on decomposing anytime soon. Lets move to San Fran :)
