Something else you can try to get away from the podium. Lots of speakers stay frozen behind the podium with a death grip on the lectern. Instead, try stepping away from the podium and move naturally - it helps regulate breathing, as well as reduce the shaking that can come when you&#039;re really nervous.

Also, don&#039;t forget to leave time at the end of a presentation for Q&amp;A. It can spark some great dialog and help you end your presentation on a high note.
